DIVE! DIVE! DIVE!
The water is warming up, we are seeing more critters and our friend Will is in town. All exceptionally good reasons to spend time underwater at Blue Heron Bridge - almost 8 hours this week to be exact.
Carl, Will and I make a good team. Over the course of three days we found twelve different species of nudibranchs and one sea slug. This Gold-lined Sea Goddess (Felimare ruthae) was my favorite. Less than an inch long when all stretched out.
I added a new fish - Bluelip Parrotfish - (common at the bridge, but the first time I photographed it) and a new nudibranch - White Aeolis (Favorinus branchialis) - to my life list. And, I found the tiniest Banded Blenny I have ever seen. They are included below along with a few other pictures from this week underwater at the bridge.
