This week’s travels
took us from sunset at Fort Clinch State Park (Fernandina Beach, FL) to sunrise at Lums Pond State Park (Bear DE) and finally to our home for the week, a VRBO in Seaside Heights, NJ. We left Possum at a friends house in Forked River and settled in here for what we hope will be a week of fun on and in Barnegat Bay.

We had a little bit of time at Fort Clinch to hunt for shark’s teeth. Not our most impressive showing, but at least we found a few.
For most of the week we hopped from campsite to campsite, but we spent an extra night at Lums Pond and had some time for exploration. Here are a few more pics from there. Had it been cooler, there would be more. Our plan was to come north and escape the heat. WTF?!
